Chiyoda is located in central Tokyo and has a number of great tourist attractions including the Imperial Palace where the Emperor of Japan lives.

Tourist attractions in Chiyoda include the Imperial Palace, Hie Jinja and Kanda Myojin (shrines), Holy Resurrection Cathedral, Criminology Museum of Meiji University, Tokyo Animation Centre and Akihabara - Electric Town where you can buy all sorts of electronics goods including computer parts and accessories.

Getting to Chiyoda

Tokyo Station is located in Chiyoda and is an easy walk 10 minute walk to the Imperial Palace.

The Imperial Palace East Garden is open to the public everyday except Mondays and Fridays. The Imperial Palace itself is only open to the public on 2 days of the year, the day after New Years Day and on the Emperor's birthday.
