  Boca Spanish Restaurant Reviews

Review submitted 5th September 2013 - from Victor

they wants apply a admision fee of 500¥ before did any order. obviusly i go out so fast ( the boos and staff are not spanish.. dificult to taste good spanish food)

Reply from site author - Victor - Welcome to Tokyo - it is not uncommon for small bars and restaurants in Tokyo to charge a seating fee. They have such small premises they want to make sure they get paying customers. As for real Spanish food - they may have had Japanese staff but you will be surprised how well these chefs cook. The Japanese take food very seriously. I have had some of the best Spanish, Italian and even Greek food in Tokyo in restaurants which only had Japanese chefs. Japanese chefs travel all over the world to be trained by top chefs in different countries then come back to Japan and do authentic food. Give it a go sometime. You may be surprised.

Have you dined at Boca Spanish Restaurant Shinjuku Tokyo?
